Accountants, fancy a new job supporting social enterprise? Rise needs you!

Accountants, you’ve got until noon, Thursday, October 22, to apply for the finance director job at Rise, the rudder to social enterprise in the region.

The organisation is offering £34,801-40,802 pro rate for a 21 hour week (you do the math). To pick up the pay, plus your eight per cent pension pro rata, you’d need to be a qualified ACCA/ACA accountant with at least three years post qualification experience as well as experience of working in the charitable/social enterprise sectors.

Among other things, ‘a knowledge of grant claims and experience of European funding requirements and systems would be desirable’.
