Giles Chichester, Conservative MEP for South West England and Gibraltar, has installed the Google Moderator interactive video system, which means you can be involved in question and answer sessions with him and vote on the issues raised. He’s chosen Climate Change as the first of a series of topics to be discussed.
Giles has spent plenty of time on European Parliament energy committees, so it’s not surprising he’s chosen this topic, especially in advance of the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December.
And seeing as the South West MEPs’ constituency stretches from Swindon to the Isles of Scillies and from Tewkesbury to Gibraltar, he reckons this system will help him stay in touch with his constituents.
Check out the Google Moderator system on his site, ask him a question and raise an issue.
