You don’t even have to mention Garibaldi to become politically charged when talking about biscuits. Politicians’ and pundits’ worlds crumble as soon as the debate starts. There’s PM Gordon Brown finding difficulty deciding his biscuity treat, and now Andrew Neil on his The Week TV show can’t help but fall prey biscuit-correctness-gone-mad brigade. Thank goodness South West MEP Giles Chichester kept a cool head when asked the indelicate probing question of favourite biscuit back in April 2009.
The project was part Knowing Me, Knowing Ur Up! (catchy title) by Sarah from the South West, which took place before the 2009 batch of European Elections.
