Devon Climate Action Network event to connect all environmental groups in Devon

Devon Can (Climate Action Network) is holding a grand networking event for all those in Devon interested in climate action, transition and sustainable living, at the Belmont Centre, Exeter on November 21 from 10am to 4pm.

The all-day event is follow on from the group’s launch in March.

The purpose of Devon Can is ‘to help support, connect and represent the various groups and individual members’.

‘This networking event will be an opportunity for you to meet fellow activists from all over Devon, to share ideas and help solve common problems. Why reinvent the wheel if it has been done elsewhere? Can you pass on your expertise to other groups? In what areas can we be more effective by working together?’ Asks the Devon Can website.

The event is free of charge although donations will be welcome. Light refreshments will be served at the start and there will be a light lunch of soup and a roll.
