Katie Marie is excited about her gig at The Barrel House, Totnes on Sunday, November 22

Hello there peeps! Hope you’ve had a fab week despite this rather rubbish weather! As you may have guessed I’ve been braving the elements and hiking around Totnes and Dartington putting up posters for this Sunday’s (November 22) gig @ The Barrel House here there and everywhere.

It was loads of fun and I have to say a HUGE thank you to all the lovely shop owners who were all so amazingly supportive and were willing to not only put up posters in their lovely windows but also grab a few flyers for their counters – BIG THANKIES! So go on, have a wander up Totnes High Street over the next few days and see how many places you can spot our posters.

So talking of this Sunday… I’m so excited about it and really can’t wait! Hope you guys can make it too, last time we put on a gig @ The Barrel House I was so humbled by how many peeps showed and we had such a great time. Doors open at 8pm and it’s just £4 on the door – bargain! It won’t just be me playing, my very good musical friend Mr Dan Crisp will be playing too. So hope to see you there.

Also I’ve been busily writing TV tunes in my lovely little studio. It’s been tough, but so much fun and I really do love it lots! This week I managed to finish off a blues tracks and also a punk song – my next mission? Well it’s a classical march piece followed by a hardcore electronic track, lol! Talk about one extreme to another!! But hey, it’s all good fun. I just need to do lots of research on classical march pieces as it’s a while since I’ve dabbled in any classical type stuff – will let you know how it goes!

Gig wise I was up in Exmouth last night, playing at 11a in Church Street. I’ve played there before and it was oodles of fun. Hope to be back there again soon!
