Jane Baker, famed for her chocolate sculptures, will be at both venues in the Newton Abbot arts trail. She’s over on our Arts+Culture site talking about Platform Art at Newton Abbot rail station. The premiere site for arts coverage (that’s Arts+Culture) also has Luci Coles of Incidental Imagery talking about that exhibition.
Newton Abbot is also the site for a family animation day on Saturday, November 28, as part of the week-long View from Here film festival.
Platform Art features Jane Baker along with Robin Clutterbuck and Paul Freestone on the bridge at the historic Newton Abbot Train station, from Saturday, November 28 to Sunday, December 6.
Incidental Imagery, in a venue on East Street in the town, includes the varied work of Jane, Luci, Vicki Gardener, Gill Greatorex, Jan O’Highway, Ruth Smith and the Bishopsteignton Outdoor Art Group.
