If you can’t get to the London Climate March/Wave on Saturday, December 5, maybe you could join the informal Wave in Exeter, which several local climate groups are supporting. A walking group will start off at Cathedral Green, Exeter at noon Saturday, December 5.
It will be a peaceful, family-friendly walk around pedestrian/cycle paths in the city centre and will support a strong, fair and binding agreement at the Climate Summit in Copenhagen.
The event will coincide with the start of the regular Exeter Critical Mass Cycle Group, but you don’t have to bring a bike.
One of those taking part told the PRSD, this is about showing cooperation and support for a global solution, so wear blue, but don’t get blue!
