This is awful. My 5 year old son is very sensitive to noise - terrible to think of what he may be exposed to without my knowing - and after researching the topic a little it seems to be unknown as to whether these devices can actually cause physical harm to children. These devices should be illegal. To think that they are used on public services is an utter disgrace.

Well done to Dom and South Devon Liberal Youth. Mosquito devices are indiscriminate and target all young people, including babies, regardless of whether they are behaving or misbehaving.

It is particular egregious for FGW to have had the device on during the day when school pupils and students are waiting to for train to go to school or college.

It’s indicative of way society is demonising young people, and blaming them for all anti social behaviour – yet of the 12 ASBOs issued in Teignbridge, one was to a youth and three to OAPs.
