Just because the walking product placement that is Exeter MP Ben Bradshaw was crowing about the Exeter Unitary decision before it was announced, doesn’t mean it was a done deal. And helpfully the naughty front bencher answered a couple of myths about the decision.
We have boiled down the kernels of truth – as we see them – that are Ben’s Myth-Busting facts.
1. Council tax can go up as well as down.
2. Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire and many more councils in the Midlands and north are all better than Devon now that it’s lost control of Exeter.
3. We’re returning to a type of government from before the UK joined the common market.
4. “This is all about Ben Bradshaw” Who he!
5. No one likes Exeter or Norwich.
Check out Ben’s myth busting facts for yourself – but watch out for the product placement!
