Win a year’s supply of your very own wildlife ice cream creation with a Devon Wildlife Trust and Langage Farm Competition.
Devon Wildlife Trust and Langage Farm have launched a competition to design a new flavour of ice cream with a wildlife theme.
All you have to do is come up with a name for a wildlife-themed ice cream and list the ingredients it would contain – and you could win with a year’s supply of your creation – plus raise money for the wildlife charity at the same time.
The example they give is vanilla ice cream with dormouse-shaped chocolate pieces and call it ‘Dormicecream’. We’ve scratched our heads in the PRSD offices and come up with: Basking Shark Surprise – a big piece of chocolate just under the surface of the ice cream; Hedgehog Toffee Crunch, ice cream with a crunching toffee topping; and finally we thought to make it really expensive, and call it Very Deer! (Boom, boom!).
For more ideas have a quick scoot around the Devon Wildlife Trust site. And why not get some more inspiration from the Langage Farm site, too?
And with every sale of every pot, Langage will donate some of the proceeds to the wildlife charity.
To enter, send your ingredients list and suggested name on a postcard to Devon Wildlife Trust, Cricklepit Mill, Commercial Road, Exeter, EX2 4AB. Or send an email to shussey@devonwildlifetrust.org
Closing date for entries is Thursday, May 6.

Please do not buy anything electrical from Tavistock Refurnish. We bought a washing mcahine with guarantee but it would not spin and first of all they promise to call back but don’t, then try to blame you for causing the fault. They just don’t want to honour their guarantee and its only because I went to the trading standards that they are (hopefuly) sending an engineer out on Friday.
