Exeter will turn Green on Saturday, February 27, as the South West Greens descend on the city in their droves for their annual general meeting.
With the South Devon Green Party purported as being the largest in the country and the newly formed East Devon Greens raising their profile, this will be a chance for the party to gird itself after its Devon County Council seat win, and face-up to the forthcoming General Election.
Paula Black took the Devon County Council Totnes seat in last year’s county elections, and she’ll be fighting the Exeter constituency at the General Election.
Other of the county’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidates are: Sharon Pavey – East Devon; L’Anne Knight – North Devon; Corinne Lindsey – Newton Abbot; and Lydia Somerville – Totnes.
