Exeter’s Double Elephant Print Workshop and Devon Records Office have six commissions for artists to work on the theme of ‘politics’.
For a theme that seems more in cloud-cuckoo-land than most art works, it could offer a down-to-earth alternative as we approach the heady days of election-time.
The work will be inspired by the resources available at Devon Records Office and must in part be realised through the medium of printmaking.
Deadline for submissions of interest is Friday, April 9
A total of six commissions are on offer, each worth up to £400, consisting of: £150 cash per artist or collaborative group of artists, and up to £250 worth of printmaking tuition/support provided by Double Elephant Print Workshop.
Visit the Double Elephant site for more details or email exhibition@doubleelephant.org.uk for a submission form.
