Ashburton and Buckfastleigh outdoor pools open on Saturday, May 29 for general swimming from 10am to 6pm each day until Sunday, June 6.
Opening times will then revert to the school term-time schedule.
This year regular visitors will be able to take out a season pass which can be used at all Teignbridge’s outdoor pools throughout the May to September season, giving them the opportunity to save money on regular pool use. Adult passes cost £42 and junior passes (5-15yrs) cost £25, with under-5s going free. They’re available to buy at all outdoor pool kiosks during the season.
All Teignbridge’s outdoor pools are heated and supervised by qualified lifeguards. Pool sessions range from general swimming and club use to the ultra-popular junior Inflatable Fun sessions, when giant inflatable play areas are used in the pools. New for 2010 at Teignmouth Lido is the addition of hot refreshments available to buy on site.
