Help make Anthony Gormley-inspired clay cows at organicARTS in Ide, near Exeter, on Sunday, June 27 for their Devon Open Studios exhibition.
Up to 1,000 clay cows are needed for the new work, A Field For You, inspired by Gormley’s Field piece, which shuffled into the Spanish Barn at Torre Abbey last year (this year Damien Hirst’s cow’s have taken the spot – ah, spot the connections?).
Christine Duff, co-ordinator of organicARTS told our Arts+Culture: “All the work at the exhibition will be related to clay as we have a natural source of clay at the farm. A number of works are being made by local artists and as we are a community project we wanted to create something which is made by the community.”
