New Plymouth web-based radio invites involvement from local community groups and charities

A new web-based radio station (and online music resource) is set to burst on the scene from its Plymouth home of the Ride Cafe, and it’s asking if local community groups and charities if they would like to get involved in the project.

eatmusic will be broadcasting live from Ride Cafe from 6pm-midnight every day from Monday, July 26 until Sunday, August 22,  and is driven by a desire to provide a platform for the growing community of local bands, producers, DJs and artists.

“There are a lot of good people doing good work in and around Plymouth and we would like to provide a stage for such groups to promote themselves and what they do,” said the eatmusic people.

“Hopefully we can also help build bridges and provide local organisations and musicians with an opportunity to meet like-minded people and do some good for the local area.

“And, fingers crossed, broadcast some great radio shows.”

Behind the scenes eatmusic is run by a team of employees, volunteers and students of Deep Blue Sound in Plymouth
