Hope you’ve all managed to get sorted for Christmas Day with as little amount of stress as possible! I finally got myself sorted but I had a pretty scary expeirence a few days ago in Tesco’s, which I don’t want to repeat again… ever.
I had been warned about the amount of peeps that would all be doing exactly the same thing as me at exactly the same time… but little did I know that it would be the entire of the population of Devon! It was all a bit much for a simple soul like my good self, who is just used to visiting the village shop where the only other person there is usually the shop keeper and on occasion their very old doggy – so after 40 minutess of waiting in a queue longer than Totnes High Street, I just decided to ditch my trolly and head home for the biggest cup of tea in the world, because a cup of tea makes everything better.
If you read last week’s article you’ll know I had oodles of fun jamming with Tina Dico (sadly not in person!). I set up a few cameras in my studio and jammed on Karon (my Cajon) to Tina’s beautiful song Break of Day.
I got Lisa to help me with editing it (as I know nothing about these sorts of things!) and here’s what we came up with:
It was so much fun putting all the clips together and really interesting to see how it all worked. Big thankies to Lisa for staying up until stupid o’clock in order to help me put it all together.
So now I have to try my bestest to not do anything musical for a couple of days and get into the festive swing of things. Today is probably the first day I’ve started feeling vaguely Chrimassy (well better late than never) and I’ll be hanging out with my folks which will defo be oodles of fun.
I also wanted to take this time to say a huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read any or all of my articles here on PRSD, I always have loads of fun writing them and really appreciate people checking them out
Also huge thanks to the big PRSD chief Mr Lee for publishing all my random noodlings
So all that’s left is for me to wish you a very Happy Christmas – hope you have fun whether you do lots or nothing at all… and I’ll see you next week!
