There’s a celebration of 100 years of International Women’s Day with the dance music from around the world from Espiritu del Mundo and belly dance workshop, which we’re informed will inspire you to move your body in ways you never know you could.
During the evening a wall of inspiring women will be built and you’re asked to bring a picture of a woman/girl who has inspired you together with a sort piece of writing to say why. “She can be someone famous or simply someone you love.”
It’s a women only event and takes place at Meadowbrook Community Centre, Dartington on Saturday, March 12 at 7.30pm to midnight (the workshop is from 8-9pm). Tickets are £8 or £6 for concession and for more info email jojazz@onetel.com
