Artist Jacqueline Hammond has had her images put onto a series of deckchairs, and included in them is her image of the journey from Teignmouth to Chudleigh.
The Country Lane deckchair, with its enticing avenue of trees, is based on Jacqueline’s painting, Mum’s Drive Home.
It depicts an atmospheric drive down a winding road from the South Devon coastal town, Teignmouth, over Haldon Hill to Jacqueline’s home town of Chudleigh. Her mother used to commute using that route and the painting was produced in her memory.
