The government has decided to bring forward the date for reduction in the feed-in tariff for small-scale household photovoltaic installations – that’s the money you get for selling your eco-created energy back to the National Grid.

The move marks a step back on green energy provision, and hits those who had planned for their solar panels with an eye on the feed in tariff.

Transition Newton Abbot is looking at getting a system fitted who will be directly affected by this proposal. Meanwhile, there’s an e-petition to try to persuade the government from withdrawing this proposal.
