Teignmouth: the town council rejected Teignbridge's Core Strategy
Teignmouth Town Council unanimously rejected the ‘Western Extension’ option of Teignbridge’s Core Strategy.
Mayor David Cox told the PRSD: “I’m very pleased with the decision.
“Building hundreds of houses in the green fields near Shepherd’s Lane, eating up our precious countryside is not the answer to the town’s housing need. We want sustainable housing in the town, close to facilities and public transport.”
