Nice to see Central Devon MP Mel Stride pop his head over the parapet in PMQs to ask one of those questions that make you wonder why these people draw a wage.
Mel fawned at David Cameron: “Will my right hon. Friend join me in paying tribute to the 23 million people in our country who work with such commitment in the private sector—the sector that generates the wealth that this country so desperately needs?
“Will he also welcome, as I do, the fact that under this Government we now have more people employed in the private sector than at any time in our history?”
