Enjoy the flavours of the South West at a new monthly food fair at the Shops, Dartington
The Shops at Dartington will launch a brand new monthly food market this September to showcase and support the wealth of small but excellent quality food producers in the South West who help make our region one of the ‘tastiest’ in the UK!
The new market is designed to complement the thriving local food scene in the South Hams and was created in response to requests from local food producers and the Dartington community.
The free event will run on the last Sunday of every month, with the inaugural market taking place between 10am and 4pm on Sunday, September 30 in association with Food and Drink Devon, a not-for-profit organisation that is passionate about the provenance and quality of Devon products.
Barbara King, managing director of The Shops at Dartington, said: “We already have a wonderful food offer at the Shops, with a thriving farm foods shop and deli, two great cafes and our annual food fair.
“The new monthly food market will add to this and will be a lovely way to feature our fantastic local food and drink makers while also enjoying live music and entertainment. We look forward to welcoming visitors to the first event on September 30.”
As well as offering stalls from some of the best local food and drink producers in the area, the free event will also feature live music and a free prize draw to win delicious local goodies.
