It looks like Plymouth MP Oliver Colvile has his eyes on distant shores, although recently they’ve been a lot closer than following the tobacco industry in Africa.
Olli had his mind on Gibraltar in September.
Et maintenant, the cricket-loving MP has set his sights on France.
Jonny Morris, chair of Plymouth Moor View Labour Party said: “Now in October he has been found in La France Profonde persuading Tory expats to pressure the Government to let them vote in General Elections even when they have lived abroad for 15 years.
“I am not, of course, one of Mr Colvile’s constituents, but then neither are the residents of the Var or the Gibralterians.
“Has Oliver had enough of Plymouth? Is he angling for a seat in the European Parliament?”
