Newton Abbot MP Anne Marie Morris

Teignbridge residents are to have the chance to air their views and put questions to MP Anne Marie Morris about the 2013 Budget – from pensions and tax allowances, through health and social care to housing and transport.

The Newton Abbot MP will be speaking at an open public meeting about some of the key issues facing the country, and what the Government is trying to do about it.

The event has been organised by Newton Abbot Senior Voice, the local branch of Devon Senior Voice, the voluntary forum for the over-50s.

Branch chair Donald Polman said: “We are keen to promote opportunities for public debate about important topics, and how they affect everyone. The occasion is free and open to all, so come along and make your voice heard. We look forward to seeing as many members of the public as possible.”

The meeting will take place at the Courtenay Centre, Kingsteignton Road, Newton Abbot TQ12 2QA, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm on Friday, April 5. Refreshments will be served.
