We’re constantly being told how good the Black Bird Collective is, and now they’re offering a free night of live music.
Nordic Giants and Tallulah Rendall, plus special guests, will be performing their socks off on Friday, June 7 at the new South Devon Arts Centre. Entry is, as mentioned free, but it would be best to reserve your tickets. Doors open at 8pm.
The Black Bird Collective is ‘a collective of musicians and music lovers putting on live gigs in and around Totnes, Devon’, and to quote Ems Coombes on this site: “The Black Bird Collective has hit the nail right on the head with this venture, bringing beautiful, honest music to local audiences.”
Now’s the chance for you to sample one of their events for yourself. Nordic Giants and Tallulah Rendall are said to be ‘two of the UK’S most stunning and theatrical acts’.
Brighton-based Nordic Giants offer up mystical sounds from behind their be-feathered faces for ‘dreamy ambient swells, epic builds and huge moments of power’ as the mysterious duo perform live soundtracks to a backdrop of award-winning short films.
Tallulah Rendall’s music is ‘ethereal yet powerful, delicate and yet vociferous in its insistent, intricate and beautifully orchestrated sound.’
Take a look at the films below to see Tallulah Rendall performing at St Pancras Station, and the Nordic Giants as they record their debut album in Wales. And book your tickets to free the Friday, June 7 gig in Totnes.
