More and more Rosbifs are learning to love le French – thanks to Alliance Française – Devon.
For 26 years native French speakers have been helping students speak French, and promoting l’entente cordiale through monthly book clubs, cinema screenings, conferences, workshops and trips to France.
Since Alliance Française – Devon was funded in 1987, 1,500 students have improved their understanding of the French language and culture. Numbers are steadily on the increase. This academic year alone more than 190 students of all ages and levels have attended courses in Exeter and Dartington.
“I always come away from the classes enthused and wanting to know more. Learning with native French speakers is definitely the way to do it,” says one student, Karen from Exeter.
Class sizes are small – usually no more than eight – so that each student has ample opportunity to practise their language skills under the guidance of enthusiastic and professional tutors.
Fancy joining us but not sure which course to go for? Why not come along to one of our Open Days on Tuesday, September 3 between 6pm – 8pm and Saturday, September 7 between 3pm. and 5pm.Our tutors will be happy to have a chat to explore which course would suit you best.
