In an escalation of the ground offensive in the south of the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces terrorised the population of Khoza’a, a small rural community east of Khan Younis. Lou Brown spoke to South Devon peace worker Jenny Linnell, who is in the Gaza Strip. This is the report of their conversation: “Yesterday they went to a rural area nearby where she worked last time she was in Gaza. There was an incursion there on Tuesday, troups entered and left again. They started bulldozing Jenny Linnell told the PRSD: “At approximately 3am on Sunday, January 11, Israeli F-16 fighter jets bombed the buildings of the Dar al-Fadila Association for Orphans, which included a school, a college, a computer centre and a mosque, on Taha Hussein Street in the Kherbat al-’Adas neighbourhood in the north-east of Rafah.” Peace worker Jenny Linnell from South Devon is in the Gaza Strip, recording her thoughts for the International Solidarity Movement.
