On arrival to the preview evening I The Wharf at Tavistock, a privately run arts centre, is currently hosting an exhibition of local artwork as part of the annual Tavistock Music and Arts Festival. The first three entries are in for the arts+culture ad competition. Artists were given the challenge to design a 125×125 ad for the arts+culture website, linking to themselves, to win the chance to be featured on the cover of the arts+culture magazine. Radio Free South West is celebrating being a year (and a bit) old, by bringing out its own compilation. It’s been a busy couple of months for painter Clare Flint. She’s had a great exhibition with Simon Ruscoe – the Call of the Lost at Exeter Castle – she’s travelled along to London for an exhibition at the Oxo building, and she’s on the front cover of the latest arts+culture magazine.
