Devon County Council is up to win £30,000 for its Renewable Energy for Devon scheme in the local authority section of the famed Ashden Awards for Sustainable Energy 2009, which take place in London on Thursday, June 11. Those cool cucumbers over at Don’t Panic were understandably a little green (as in ‘sick’ and ‘with envy’) at the home of Totnes MP Anthony Steen, so they enjoyed a picnic on the grounds, reckoning that tax payers had helped with the upkeep, so they could jolly well enjoy the benefits.
After watching the results of the South West region elections, my reaction is the South West rejects this Labour Government and its Prime Minister, let alone the country. |
